The Twins at the Met

The Twins at the Met captures the rich and colorful history of Minnesota Twins baseball at Metropolitan Stadium. Long before Target Field, and long before the Dome, there was the Met Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, the initial home ballpark for the Minnesota Twins. It was Minnesota's first taste of Major League Baseball in the great outdoors, and for 21 seasons, was complete with Hall of Fame performances, vivid characters and unpredictable weather. Through new interviews with legendary Twins players and staff, the book is packed with fond recollections and candid comments on the Met Stadium era.

The Twins in the Dome

From 1982-2009 the Twins called the Metrodome their home. During that time there were World Championships, Hall of Fame performances, crazy bounces, and balls lost in the roof. It was a different kind of ballgame and the Dome had many critics, but you always knew the game would be played. Along the way, the Twins shared the Dome with some of the top groups in rock music. The Metrodome was ''Minnesota's rec room.'' Through new interviews with legendary Twins players and personalities, The Twins in the Dome is packed with fond recollections and candid comments.
